I know you guys really want to taste the new Windows Seven, right? but how??
Recently, I done a little tweak on my vista and come out with Windows Se7en GUI. I loved it so much, because the GUIs is so simple and quite handy to use. After all, vista and seven have several similarity in few things. The only distinguishing features of Windows Seven is, of course its "SuperBar".


This SuperBar is awesome, thats all I can tell you. Its not just an ordinary taskbar like the one in Vista, its a whole new taskbar. Some people say that this SuperBar is quite the same like OS X Dock, but actually its is far beyond that. However, this special thing can only show its full potential when you have a touch screen computer. If you want to know more about it you can read our older post "Windows Seven Features".

Another sweetest thing about Windows Seven GUIs is the "Extra Touch". Honestly, I made up this word to simplify the three special main features of Windows Seven, that are Aero Snap, Aero Shake and Aero Peek. This "Extra Touch" actually functioning like OS X Space and Expose features. It give you a freedom of spaces in your desktop. Sometimes, we didn't notice that we already open quite a lot of application windows, so how to minimize the other window or even switch to the next window? Its quite messy isn't? So these features allow you to peek other window or just give a snap on one of the window you're favor the most, then amazingly all the other windows will be minimize or even became transparent automatically. Isn't it nice!!..

Without multimedia function, all computer is useless. That is why, Microsoft implement new Windows Media Player 12 specially for Windows Seven. This new WMP 12 able to play almost everything. Updated version of media guide and fast searching capability for searching your music library. Currently, new version of Windows Media Center already updated for Windows Seven M3 version. If you guys want to use WMP 12 in your vista, I'm sorry to say this, but just forget it. All I know WMP 12 is built for Windows Seven, if I'm not mistaken. But, don't worry, there is lots of free and reliable media player out there.





P/S: The sidebar on the right is actually RocketDock, and honestly I can't live without.

Before you change anything in your desktop especially your system32 folder, make sure you backup anything important first. This is a counter measure backup if anything happen during the process of tweaking your Vista GUI. Its too risky if you didn't backup anything.

P/S: It is wise if you don't change almost everything, even me didn't change the whole vista into Se7en.
