Fuh, this totally making me a bit crazy. I've done a few research about this new Intel processor. The outcome is, everybody will be dreamed to have one of it but, nobody will have it until next year and you know why?. Intel Core i7 is totally craziest processor ever built by Intel and its the only processor ever exceeding the extreme level test ever conducted on others processor such as core 2 duo and core 2 quad. This damn baby is thrice the performance of core 2 quad.



Moreover, this baby can be much more crazier and I know how to do it, First new motherboard chip. Right now only few motherboard can support this baby and you even can count it by your hand. This is because this baby need a new chipset X58 and also large port that is LG 1366, larger than the usual LG 775. This baby is huge processor, its consume so much space and memory, but the special thing about this baby, it have integrated memory and thats mean, even you add 2GB RAM, that ram will not be fully used by this baby because this baby will use its integrated memory first and it will only use the ram when it needs to. Thus, you can fully used the RAM memory for playing your game.

This baby also used Level 3 cache, quite an advanced improvement from other processor such as core 2 duo and core 2 quad, that usually only have level 2 cache. This improvement is the superb advancement ever. Furthermore, this baby will not be on its move without its main buddy, new DDR3 SDRAM. This baby only compatible with DDR3 ram. It may still functioning with DDR2 but this baby will no longer can use its QuickPath technology. So, its no used having this baby without its buddy.



But, for my conclusion, this baby might take its time first because we still prefer using core 2 duo rather having this extreme processor. Because all we need is something that cheap but can satisfy all our need. Perhaps one day this baby will be accepted like core 2 duo. I'm looking forward for that day.

DUDE! NICE POST! This sounds crazily cool man! Really makes me think of stashing all my money into the bank and wait for the day when its time to make my own mini-super-gaming machine! Otanoshimini! (Means can't wait to see it!)

Actually it might take long time man, because this processor is not as easy as you see it is. You need to buy new motherboard, ram, huge hard disk, new port and i think a new graphics card, since you may not wasting this baby with just below average performance right?. So, you need all brand new and that cost a very huge buck.

Means we have to break the bank? Ok here goes:

Ken: "We're robbing them bank today, gotta get 'em money an buy me some new 'ardware.
Tommy: (Lock&Loaded) "Lets get 'em boss."

Seriously, new processors means new motherboard, new capacity level of RAM needed and so is the case for hard disk storage space, hardware compatibility, graphics card and more, just like QAyum said. If it means breaking the bank, its a must have for enthusiast, and for me, those hardwares will have to watch out. I'm coming to the party allright.
